Black Box Selects Retired Brigadier General to Lead United States Air Force Business Efforts

Black Box Corporation (NASDAQ:BBOX), an industry-leading

solutions announced today it has hired Brigadier General Rick
Dinkins, USAF, Retired as executive director for Air Force
Programs. He will lead the Company’s United States Air Force (USAF)
business efforts as part of Black Box Network Services Federal
Division.

Rick Dinkins entered the air force in 1971 as an enlisted
missile crew member and recently retired after 38 years of service.
During his career, he commanded three major communications units
and served in numerous staff positions at Headquarters Air Force,
combatant command and coalition levels in the United States, as
well as the European, Pacific, and Southwest Asia theaters of
operations. In 2005, he served as the Director, Communications and
Information Systems, Multi-National Force-Iraq, Baghdad, Iraq, in
direct support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Most recently, he served
as the Chief Information Officer and Director of Command, Control,
Communications and Computer Systems for United States
Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
