(NYSE Amex: UQM), a developer of alternative-energy technologies, announces today that its President and CEO, Eric Ridenour, will present strategic insights on the growth of the company at the 11th Global Clean Technology Conference, in New York City on February 23, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

The Jefferies 11th Global Clean Technology Conference will feature presentations from over 100 leading public and private companies across the clean technology spectrum and seeks to help investors identify near and long-term investment opportunities.

UQM electric propulsion products serve all categories of vehicle electrification and spans across multiple market segments, including passenger cars, buses, agriculture and military combat vehicles.

UQM electric propulsion systems were recently selected by two international auto makers. Saab will use the PowerPhase® 135 kW system to power their 9-3 ePower test fleet vehicles, and Audi will use the PowerPhase® 125 kW propulsion system for its A1 e-tron all-electric test fleet vehicles. Deliveries began in the third quarter of 2010 and will continue through calendar year 2011.

UQM also recently relocated to a new 130,000 square foot, 30-acre facility with a fully validated production process that meets Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) automotive standards, and is capable of fulfilling increased OEM volume.
