Procera® Networks Inc. (NYSE Amex: PKT), a developer of Evolved Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) solutions providing traffic awareness, control and protection for complex networks, today announced that Yoigo has deployed PacketLogic™ to offer new, prepaid Internet-to-Go services.

Spanish mobile operator Yoigo is an operator of excellence -- of operational excellence that makes them a world leader in a number of critical disciplines. Two of these disciplines are time to market and customer communication. In a very short time, Yoigo leveraged their successful postpaid mobile broadband offering to target an untapped segment of Internet customers, with a similar prepaid service.

Internet Para Llevar means Internet to go. Subscribers buy a prepaid Yoigo service at a set price. This removes the uncertainty of not knowing the cost at the end of the month and the feeling of paying for something they might not fully utilize. It also enables Spanish residents who still lack a bank account in Spain to get Internet access, just like visiting businesspeople that need Internet access beyond the hotel. The attractiveness of this service is growing on par with 3G modems being built into laptops and ultra portables, making them ready to instantly take Internet on the go.

"As a relatively new entrant in the market, we must stand out," said Johan Andsjö, CEO of Yoigo. "We originally launched a postpaid data service with a maximum daily fee. The customer pays for his consumption, but we don't impede usage since he has a maximum variable cost. Our ambition is to create attractive services and accommodate ever-changing conditions while securing a pertinent business case by managing production costs."

Procera Networks provides the deep packet inspection (DPI) platform PacketLogic that is central to the production of Yoigo's data services. PacketLogic, with the software suite PacketLogic Subscriber Manager (PSM), manages and notifies the subscriber as he is approaching the quota to enable him to increase his service, or even switch to another service plan. The constant changes require PacketLogic to be extremely flexible to implement policies to accommodate new conditions.

"Mobile broadband is a key differentiator when we're being compared to the competition and it's a primary growth contributor for the future," Andsjö continues. "This is the kind of game-changer that we as a challenger can leverage to gain market share."

"Yoigo has innovated and impacted the mobile broadband market through well-aimed actions," said Jon Lindén, VP of Global Marketing at Procera Networks. "They make sure individual customers don't ruin the business case, which enables them to offer a better service to all. They master the toughest challenge of all, which is communicating in a way that the customer instantly understands and appreciates. This is part of the secret behind their success."
