State below in reasonable detail why Forms 10-K, 20-F, 11-K, 10-Q, 10-D, N-SAR, N-CSR, or the transition report or portion thereof, could not be filed within the prescribed time period.

IVAX Diagnostics has delayed filing its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the third quarter of 2011. IVAX Diagnostics intends to utilize the five-day extension provided by filing this Notification of Late Filing on Form 12b-25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission and expects to file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the third quarter of 2011 on or prior to November 21, 2011. This delay has occurred as a result of unforseen delays in connection with completing and filing IVAX Diagnostics’ consolidated financial statements and the accompanying footnotes.

Based on the data currently available, IVAX Diagnostics anticipates reporting net revenues for the third quarter of 2011 of $4,059,598, a 2.7% increase from net revenues of $3,952,606 for the third quarter of 2010, and net revenues for the nine months ended September 30, 2011 of $12,568,953, a 3.3% decrease from net revenues of $13,001,930 for the nine months ended September 30, 2010. Additionally, IVAX Diagnostics anticipates reporting net loss of $1,233,679 for the third quarter of 2011 compared to $1,176,758 for the third quarter of 2010, and net loss of $3,021,181 for the nine months ended September 30, 2011 compared to net loss of $3,445,475 for the nine months ended September 30, 2010.
