Canadian Superior Energy to Present at IPAA Oil & Gas Investment Symposium April 8, 2008

CALGARY, ALBERTA (TSX: SNG) (AMEX: SNG) announced today that it will be presenting at the Independent Petroleum Association of America ("IPAA") 2008 Oil & Gas Investment Symposium ("OGIS") New York being held in New York City from April 7 - 9, 2008.

Canadian Superior's Chief Executive Officer, Craig McKenzie, will present and outline the Company's forward strategy and execution plan to rapidly grow its operations both in North America and in other international basins. He will also provide an update on the Company and its recent achievements in Western Canada, its "Victory" discovery offshore Trinidad and other ongoing corporate initiatives. Mr. McKenzie will be available for further discussion at Canadian Superior's Break Out Session in Conference Room L immediately following the presentation.
