Safeguard Security Holdings, Inc. (OTC:SSHS), a provider of corporate, industrial and residential security solutions, announces today that it has executed a license agreement with Stealth Monitoring, Inc. (www.stealthmonitoring.com) as its camera surveillance-systems integrator and IP video monitoring company.

Stealth Monitoring will occupy the new security command and video control center on January 1, 2010. The new center will exhibit the latest in video analytics and monitoring technologies, and will support 24/7 call center activities and patrol dispatch services to other operating units of Safeguard. On September 22, 2009, Stealth announced its strategic partnership with Sony. Their partnership identifies Stealth recommending Sony’s IP-based video security solutions to its IP clients while Sony promotes Stealth’s unique video monitoring services. Stealth’s president, Norm Charney, stated, “The partnership with Sony offered a valuable competitive edge. We have a thousand different cameras that are coming into our control center of all types and brands, and we have trained personnel watching these cameras live.” Charney added, “Most video monitoring services are performing an event-based program (after the fact). Stealth is providing ‘pre-crime analytics’ monitoring. We are monitoring events ‘live’ using video analytics and intrusion detection software in an attempt to deter a crime before it occurs. When necessary, we dispatch authorities, to apprehend criminals, while they are still on the property and we have several successful case studies to give us bragging rights now. This type of monitoring is much more effective than recording an incident after it occurs.”

R. Michael Lagow, CEO for Safeguard, stated, “We announced the construction of our new security command and video monitoring center earlier this month. Now, our partnership with Stealth allows our technology group to further its reach into the video surveillance market and gain additional market-share. This partnership also enhances our subscription based revenue stream, thus creating a sticky client long term. We expect our monitoring services to increase our overall company revenue by $1,500,000.00 in 2010.” Lagow added, “I have known Norm since founding SYSTEMSgroup, now a wholly owned subsidiary of Safeguard. I have watched him grow this unique monitoring service to a sizable venture, and I look forward to building this partnership to the next level with him.”
