                              Vocalis Group plc                               
                   announce contracts to provide SpeechMail                   
                      to ten Internet Service Providers                       

Vocalis, the international speech recognition telephony company, today
announced that it has signed contracts with another ten Internet Service
Providers to provide Vocalis SpeechMail, which allows users to access their
e-mails from any telephone, anywhere, with simple spoken commands.

Following the recent announcement of the agreement with Freeserve, the ten
ISPs will soon be offering their customers the Vocalis SpeechMail service.

Combined, these new partnerships will allow a further 650,000 subscribers to
access their e-mail via phone, using Vocalis SpeechMail, by dialling a
specified number and entering their account number and PIN.  

Ace Internet, Airtime Internet, Aviator Networks, Cherryblue Ltd, Croxsons New
Media, Cyberscape, INC Internet Services, Madasafish, Strongnet and Telinco
have all signed contracts with Vocalis to allow wider e-mail access to their
customers.
