Energy XXI Announces Shareholder Vote to Cancel Listing on London Stock Exchange's AIM

HOUSTON - Oct. 30, 2014 - Energy XXI (NASDAQ: EXXI) (AIM: EXXI) The Company announced that in connection with the scheduled November 4, 2014 Annual General Meeting, the shareholders have been asked to vote on a proposal to authorize the Company's Board of Directors, at its discretion, to effect a cancellation of the admission of the Company's common shares, par value $0.005 per share to the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange ("AIM"). If approved by shareholders, such AIM Admission Cancellation may be implemented by the Company's Board of Director any time on or before March 13, 2015. In that event, and when the Board of Directors definitively decides to proceed with an AIM cancellation, it will notify the date that such cancellation is expected to take effect.
