LONDON--Clean Air Power Ltd. (CAP.LN), the U.K. developer of
Dual-Fuel combustion technology for heavy duty diesel engines,
Friday announced that it has received an additional order from
supermarket chain J Sainsbury PLC (SBRY.LN) for an additional 25
units of Clean Air Power's Genesis EDGE Dual-Fuel retrofit
system.
The company didn't comment on the value of the contract but said
the Genesis EDGE Dual-Fuel retrofit system will be in service early
in the fourth quarter and will expand Sainsbury's fleet of
Dual-Fuel trucks to 50.
Clean Air Power said Dual-Fuel engines substantially cut fuel
costs and carbon emissions without sacrificing the original
engine's efficiency or reliability.
At 0710 GMT shares were flat at 13.5 pence in a higher FTSE AIM
Index--up 0.04%.
