Appointment of new Non-Executive Director and directorate change

The Board of Clean Air Power Limited (AIM: CAP) is pleased to announce the
appointment, with immediate effect, of Ms. Tevya ("Teddy") Rosenberg as a
Non-Executive Director of the Company. She will replace Wally Hunter who leaves
the Board today.

Teddy Rosenberg, aged 55, lives in Canada and is currently a director of
pVelocity Inc. and a visiting lecturer in Venture Capital at the DeGroote School
of Business, McMaster University. From 1996 to 2004 she was Managing Director of
CIBC Capital Partners in Toronto, a venture capital investor focusing on early
and growth stage technology companies, primarily enterprise software, and an
early investor in alternative energy technologies.

John Pettitt, CEO of Clean Air Power Limited, commented: "It gives me great
pleasure to welcome Teddy to our Board. She has broad experience in the venture
capital sector, in business management at a senior level, and in marketing.

I am confident that she will bring a significant benefit as we continue to
develop and build a substantial company based around our unique technology that
converts a heavy-duty diesel engine into a Dual-Fuel(TM) engine capable of running
on a mix of diesel and natural gas.

The Board also records its gratitude to Wally Hunter, a Managing Partner with
RBC Capital Partners in Toronto, who has been associated with Clean Air Power
since 2001 and has intended to step down as a Non-Executive Director following
the successful completion of the Company's IPO in February 2006."
