Skoda Auto AS. said Monday that it is providing Covid-19 tests to its employees measures aiming at minimizing the risk of infection for its staff.

The Czech car maker that is owned by Volkswagen AG said the measures were agreed with the KOVO workers' union and will be implemented at its three Czech production sites for when employees return from factory holidays.

The tests "can be carried out for an appropriate fee, and are available particularly for employees that are returning to the Czech Republic from a high-risk area and need to be tested," it said.
