--BMW is planning to reduce production costs per vehicle by 25% by 2025 compared with levels in 2019, Handelsblatt reports, citing management-board member Milan Nedeljkovic.

--In the interview, Mr. Nedeljkovic said levers to cut costs included leaner logistics and a better utilization of existing plants, according to the German business newspaper.

--Mr. Nedeljkovic, who is head of production, also said the German car maker wants to produce three million vehicles per year before 2030, reports Handelsblatt.
