Paradigm Medical Industries, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: PDMI) announced today that it had completed the planned upgrades and improvements to its popular Dicon LD 400 Perimeter. The upgraded perimeter will be introduced at the annual American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) meeting to be held from October 14-17, 2010 in Chicago, Illinois. The upgraded perimeter will include the following improvements: (i) replacement of the floppy disc drive with an embedded memory; (ii) a new USB thumb drive for each of the 27 optional languages that may be used with the system; (iii) updated Advanced Fieldview software that is compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems; and (iv) a new USB printer port and appearance enhancements.

These new design improvements will be included on all new perimeter sales beginning on December 1, 2010 and thereafter. The new product will be sold as the Paradigm Dicon Autoperimeter, Model 500 and will replace the current Dicon LD 400 Perimeter. Paradigm also plans to offer through its service department similar upgrades to the LD 400's that are currently owned by purchasers.
