Item 8.01 Other Events.

On June 15, 2021, Oncotelic Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company, effective June 11, 2021, was discontinuing enrollment in its OT-101 COVID-19 directed clinical trial in South America. A copy of that press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
