FAME Productions, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: FMPR) announces that its wholly owned subsidiary, Augustus Publishing, entered into a license agreement with the publishers of UPTOWN magazine to market and distribute books and downloads under the UPTOWN Books imprint.

The UPTOWN Books imprint will expand on the diverse readership of UPTOWN Magazine -- a national magazine with city-specific editions in New York, Chicago, Atlanta, DC and Charlotte -- which celebrates the luxury lifestyle of professional and influential African American urban culture. "The affluent African American market is growing exponentially every year. The UPTOWN / Augustus partnership creates a great opportunity to collaborate and create culturally significant books for this growing audience," says Anthony Whyte, President of FAME.

Future titles published under the UPTOWN Books imprint will include narrative, non-fiction, self-help, large format pictorial reviews, and travel and leisure guides.
