Lousy investment. The underwriter's clients wouldn't buy the stock. The S-1 that went effective didn't really commit to progress, just paying off a loan and covering their G&A (paying themselves).

Jay they would not have canceled the shares if there was any plan for a merger and using the HGEN shell. They would have let the shares sit in purgatory on the expert market while they worked out the details in your theory of a merger that protects shareholders....they didn't do that.
