AXA SA said Wednesday that the coronavirus won't affect the
employment or remuneration of its 160,000 employees during the
confinement period.
The French insurer said all jobs would be maintained while the
lockdowns last. It also said it won't use temporary unemployment in
France.
AXA also promised not to defer any social security or tax
payments in France during this period.
"AXA is a Group that has its social responsibility at heart and
wishes the financial efforts of public authorities to be primarily
directed towards the most vulnerable individuals and businesses,"
the company said.
