STOCKHOLM--Swedish industrial tool maker Atlas Copco AB said Wednesday it has acquired U.K.-based Associated Compressor Engineers Ltd, a privately-owned company specializing in sales, installations and service of compressed air systems.

Founded in 1982, Associated Compressor Engineers has 12 employees and is located in Stockport, near Manchester. Its main customers are industrial and service companies in the Greater Manchester area.

Financial details weren't disclosed.
