France's Macron Tells Biden Countries Should Work to Settle Airbus-Boeing Spat, Source Says --CNBC

--Emmanuel Macron, the president of France, suggested two weeks
ago to President Joe Biden that the countries pursue a negotiated
settlement of the ongoing dispute between aircraft manufacturers
Boeing Co. and Airbus SE, CNBC reported Wednesday, citing a person
familiar with the matter.
--Mr. Biden said relevant teams would follow up but was
noncommital on the outcome, CNBC said, citing the person
familiar.
--Neither the official readout of the call from the U.S. nor
from France included mention of the dispute, CNBC said.
