Adidas AG will resume its dividends and propose to pay 3 euros ($3.64) a share for 2020, subject to approval by the Supervisory Board.

The German sporting-goods company said Monday the dividend proposal "reflects the company's strengthened financial profile as well as Management's positive outlook for the current year."

Adidas suspended its proposed EUR3.85-a-share dividend for 2019 last year as part of conditions attaching to a loan from a German state-backed development bank.
