("Ceres" or the "Company") (TSX: CRP) announced today that it has
appointed Joe Monroe to its Board of
Directors. Mr. Monroe's leadership experience spans over 30 years
within the energy sector – across energy services, supply and
distribution, crude oil trading and production operations.
Mr. Monroe currently serves as President and CEO for Green
Energy Oilfield Services, a private equity backed company.
Previously, Mr. Monroe worked with BlackBrush Oil & Gas and
TexStar Midstream Services to commercialize, build and start up the
first major crude oil pipeline and terminal system to bring Eagle
Ford crude oil to market. Mr. Monroe also held both domestic
and international leadership positions for Tesoro Corporation
(NYSE: TSO) and Unocal Corporation. Mr. Monroe holds a B.S.
in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina
State University, an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the
University of California, Berkeley and
an M.B.A. from the University of Southern
California.
