Walt Disney Co. (DIS) said Tuesday it will launch Disney+ in March in a number of major western European countries.

The company said the new streaming service will make its debut in the U.K., France, Germany, Spain and several other countries March 24.

Disney+ also will launch in additional European markets, including Belgium and Portugal, later this summer, according to the company.

Disney will offer the service for GBP5.99 or EUR6.99 a month, or GBP59.99 or EUR69.99 annually.

Disney+ is the direct-to-consumer video-streaming service the company launched last November.
