Uber, Wallbox to Expand EV-Charging Partnership

Uber Technologies Inc. and Wallbox NV are expanding nationwide a
partnership that gives Uber drivers access to electric-charging
equipment at a discount.
The agreement follows a pilot program that began in California's
Bay Area four months ago. A staged expansion of the program aims to
reach nationwide coverage by April.
"Helping drivers go electric is a crucial part of our plan to
get to zero-emissions by 2030 in the U.S.," Uber executive Andrew
Macdonald said.
Wallbox shares climbed 7.6% in pre-market activity.
