Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
On November 17, 2020, Jon W. Springer, the President and Chief Risk Officer of Universal Insurance Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”), notified the Company that he has decided to retire from his role as President of the Company, effective January 1, 2021. Mr. Springer will retire from his role as the Company’s Chief Risk Officer at the end of January and will continue serving on the Company’s Board of Directors.

On November 20, 2020, the Company issued a press release announcing Mr. Springer’s retirement, a copy of which is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
