--Lawsuits seeking to hold social media platforms liable to victims of a 2015 mass shooting in San Bernardino, California, were dismissed earlier this week, Reuters reports Wednesday.

--The lawsuits said Facebook (FB), Google and Twitter Inc. (TWTR) should be held liable, as they allowed Islamic State to use their sites, the report said.

--A federal judge dismissed the suits, and none of the companies immediately responded for comment, the report said.

--In December 2015, Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, were killed by police after the pair shot and killed 14 people in San Bernardino.
