Tellurian Inc. (TELL) said it finalized agreements for Total SA (FP.FR, TOT) to make an equity investment in Tellurian's Driftwood liquefied natural gas project in Louisiana and buy LNG from the project.

The terms, including a $500 million equity investment by Total, are consistent with plans the companies disclosed in April.

Tellurian said Wednesday that the agreements establish Driftwood as a joint venture partnership with an implied value of $13.8 billion. Tellurian expects a final investment decision in 2019.
