Sysco Hampton Roads Inc., was awarded a contract with a maximum value of $804 million for full-line food distribution, the Pentagon said Tuesday.

The contracting agency for the five-year contract is the Defense Logistics Agency, the Pentagon said, adding that the work will be performed in Virginia, serving the Navy and Air Force, according to the Pentagon.

The contract was a competitive acquisition, with one response received, the Pentagon said.

Sysco Hampton Roads is a division of Sysco Corp.
