--Spotify Technology plans to announce job cuts as early as this
week, Bloomberg reports, joining the wave of layoffs at tech
companies including Google parent Alphabet, Microsoft and
Amazon.com.
--The report, which cited unnamed sources, didn't specify the
number of Spotify jobs that will be eliminated.
--The streaming giant employed about 9,800 people as of the end
of the third quarter.
