Airbus, Spirit Airlines Sign MoU Deal for Up to 100 Jets

Airbus SE (AIR.FR) said Thursday that it has signed a memorandum
of understanding with Spirit Airlines Inc. (SAVE) for up to 100
A320neo family aircraft.
Under the MoU, the American low-cost airline intends to place a
firm order for a mix of A319neo, A320neo and A321neo jets, the
European plane maker said.
"The additional aircraft will be used to support Spirit's growth
as we add new destinations and expand our network across the U.S.,
Latin America, and the Caribbean," Spirit Airlines President and
Chief Executive Officer Ted Christie said.
