--A Southern California Gas Co. worker died in a gas line
explosion in Murrieta, Calif., the Los Angeles Times reported
Monday. Fifteen people were injured.
--The company, a unit of Sempra Energy (SRE), said in a
statement that the explosion took place shortly after crews
responded to reports of a gas line damaged by a contractor, the
Times reported.
