Sasol Brings Second Lake Charles Production Unit Online

Sasol Ltd. (SOL.JO) said Monday that it brought a second
production unit online at its Lake Charles chemicals operation in
Louisiana.
The South Africa-based petrochemical and energy company said an
ethylene-oxide facility achieved beneficial operation on Friday,
becoming the second of its seven planned units to come online.
The company said it continues to take actions to mitigate the
hit from Lake Charles's revised capital costs on the business. Last
month, Sasol raised the cost estimate for the project.
