RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. (NYSE:RNR) (“RenaissanceRe” or the “Company”) announced today that it has agreed to sell in an underwritten public offering $400 million aggregate principal amount of 3.600% Senior Notes due 2029. The Company expects to close the offering on or about April 2, 2019, subject to customary closing conditions.

The senior notes have been rated A3 by Moody’s Investors Service and A- by Standard & Poor’s. Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Merrill Lynch, Pierce Fenner & Smith Incorporated, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC served as joint book-running managers.

The notes are being offered pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement that has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”).
