Raytheon Technologies Corp. Monday said its board raised the quarterly dividend by 7.4%, to 51 cents from 47.5 cents.

The new payout, equal to $2.04 a year, represents an annual yield of 2.53% based on Friday's closing price of $80.54, up from 2.36%.

The Waltham, Mass., defense giant said the increased dividend is payable June 17 to shareholders of record May 21.
