Public Storage (PSA) reported a jump in its third-quarter profit due to a bump in revenue.

The Glendale, Calif.-based company reported a profit of $378 million, or $1.85 cents a share, compared with $356.7 million, or $1.61 a share, a year ago. Analysts polled by FactSet were expecting $1.85 a share in profit.

Revenue rose to $706.4 million from $686.4 million a year earlier. Analysts expected $709 million of revenue for the quarter.
