Southern Co.'s (SO) Southern Nuclear unit on Tuesday said it named Peter Sena executive vice president and chief nuclear officer, effective July 29.

Mr. Sena, who is currently president and chief nuclear officer of Public Service Enterprise Group Inc.'s (PEG) PSEG Nuclear unit, succeeds Danny Bost, who retired in June.

Southern said Mr. Sena will be responsible for the overall performance of Southern Nuclear's six operating units.

PSEG said Eric Carr, vice president of its Hope Creek generating station, will succeed Mr. Sena as PSEG Nuclear's president and chief nuclear officer.
