Northrop Grumman Gets Missile Contract Worth Up to $3.3 Billion

Northrop Grumman Corp. said Monday that it received an
indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a maximum
amount of $3.3 billion by the Missile Defense Agency for the
Ground-based Midcourse Defense Weapon System program.
The GWS program defends the U.S. against intermediate and
intercontinental ballistic missile attacks.
Northrop Grumman will provide design, development, verification,
deployment and sustainment support of new capabilities for GWS.
The Northrop Grumman-led GWS program team will primarily be
located in Huntsville, Ala., including its large and small business
partners.
