Host Hotels & Resorts CFO Bluhm to Step Down

Host Hotels & Resorts Inc. (HST) said Michael Bluhm, its executive vice president and finance chief, will step down this month to resume his investment-banking career at Morgan Stanley (MS).

Brian Macnamara, the lodging real-estate investment trust's senior vice president and corporate controller, will serve as principal financial officer, effective Jan. 1, until the company appoints a new executive vice president and finance chief. The company said Thursday it has started a search for Mr. Bluhm's successor.

Mr. Bluhm, who will become managing director and global head of lodging at Morgan Stanley, will stay in the company as a senior adviser through Feb. 15.
