MetLife Inc. (MET) on Friday said Patrik Ringstroem, JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s (JPM) head of corporate strategy, will join the insurance and financial-services company in July as chief strategy officer.

MetLife said Mr. Ringstroem, who will report to President and Chief Executive Michel Khalaf, succeeds Rebecca Tadikonda, who will serve as head of strategic growth markets for the company's Asia region.

Mr. Ringstroem joined JPMorgan Chase as head of corporate strategy in March 2017 after 13 years at management-consulting firm Oliver Wyman, where he was a partner.
