Macy's Inc. (M) said Marla Beck, the co-founder and chief executive of beauty and spa chain Bluemercury Inc., will leave the company after a transition period, and Bluemercury co-founder and chief operating officer Barry Beck is leaving Sept. 20 to pursue a new entrepreneurial venture.

Macy's bought Bluemercury in 2015.

Macy's said it will consider internal and external candidates for the Bluemercury CEO position.
