SAN
FRANCISCO, Feb. 2, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- LendingClub
Corporation (NYSE: LC), the parent company of LendingClub Bank,
America's leading digital marketplace bank, has earned the 2023 Top
Workplaces USA award and joins 483
companies across 45 countries as a member of the 2023 Bloomberg
Gender-Equality Index (GEI).
"We're thrilled to be named a national Top Workplace for a
second year in a row and be a member of Bloomberg's GEI since
2019," said Tina Wilson, Chief
People Officer at LendingClub. "During these past several years of
massive change, we have remained committed to our core value of
doing what's right for our employees and our members.
LendingClubbers are a group of innovative, ambitious, kind, and
incredibly talented people who are committed to transforming the
financial system so it works in favor of consumers instead of
against them."
Top Workplaces USA celebrates
organizations with 150 or more employees that have built great
cultures. Over 42,000 organizations were invited to participate in
the Top Workplaces USA survey.
Winners of the Top Workplaces USA
list are chosen based solely on employee feedback gathered through
an employee engagement survey, issued by Energage. Results are
calculated by comparing the survey's research-based statements,
including 15 Culture Drivers that are proven to predict high
performance against industry benchmarks. The Top Workplaces program
has a 15-year history of surveying more than 20 million employees
and recognizing the top organizations across 60 markets for
regional Top Workplaces awards.
"Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for
companies, especially because it comes authentically from their
employees," said Eric Rubino,
Energage CEO. "That's something to be proud of. In today's market,
leaders must ensure they're allowing employees to have a voice and
be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays
dividends."
Bloomberg's GEI is a modified market capitalization-weighted
index developed to gauge the performance of public companies
dedicated to reporting gender-related data. This reference index
measures gender equality across five pillars: leadership &
talent pipeline, equal pay & gender pay parity, inclusive
culture, anti-sexual harassment policies, and external brand.
LendingClub submitted a social survey created by Bloomberg, in
collaboration with subject matter experts globally. Those included
on this year's index scored at or above a global threshold
established by Bloomberg to reflect disclosure and the achievement
or adoption of best-in-class statistics and policies. Both the
survey and the GEI are voluntary and have no associated costs.
"Congratulations to the companies that are included in the 2023
GEI," said Peter T. Grauer, Chairman
of Bloomberg and Founding Chairman of the U.S. 30% Club. "We
continue to see an increase in both interest and membership
globally, reflecting a shared goal of transparency in
gender-related metrics."
