Item 5.02			Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings (“Labcorp”) today announced that on March 25, 2021, Labcorp’s Board of Directors (the “Board”) appointed Kathryn E. Wengel as a member of the Board, effective immediately. Ms. Wengel will be entitled to receive compensation for her service on the Board consistent with Labcorp’s director compensation program, as described in Labcorp's most recent proxy statement, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 1, 2020.

Ms. Wengel currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Global Supply Chain Officer of Johnson & Johnson. In her over 30 years of experience at Johnson & Johnson, Ms. Wengel has served in various positions of increasing responsibility across the enterprise, including as the Worldwide Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer, Chief Quality Officer, Vice President of Quality & Compliance, and Worldwide Vice President of Environment, Health & Safety.
