Item 5.02	Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(b) On June 30, 2020, The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. (the "Company") announced Mr. Brion Johnson's decision on June 28, 2020 to resign as executive vice president and chief investment officer of the Company and President of Hartford Investment Management Company (HIMCO), effective August 1, 2020. Mr. Johnson will continue as an employee of the Company in an advisory capacity through his retirement on December 31, 2020.

On June 30, 2020, the Company issued a press release announcing Mr. Johnson’s retirement.
