Wealth Managers Mark Beach and Rick DuPont Join First Republic

First Republic Bank (NYSE:FRC), a leading private bank and wealth management company, today announced that Mark Beach and Rick DuPont have joined First Republic Investment Management as Managing Directors and Wealth Managers.

Beach has 27 years of wealth management experience and DuPont has 18 years of experience. Both will provide investment management, retirement planning, investment consulting and other wealth management services to individuals, families, nonprofits and private family foundations. Beach and DuPont are based in Silicon Valley on the Peninsula.

Prior to First Republic, Beach was a Senior Vice President at Merrill Lynch/Bank of America, which he joined in 1999 from Lehman Brothers. He has extensive experience in the capital markets and has served as a financial advisor to business owners, executives and their families. Beach earned a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis. He is active in the community and supports B Street Boxing in San Mateo, a community-based boxing gym that provides instructional guidance and a safe and supportive environment for neighborhood youth, as well as the Celiac Disease Foundation.

Prior to First Republic, DuPont worked for Merrill Lynch/Bank of America as Senior Vice President for 18 years. DuPont works with clients to develop a wide range of investment strategies, including managing concentrated stock strategies and pre-IPO stock planning and diversification. DuPont earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco. He holds the professional designation of Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM, CRPC®.
