Dominion Energy Inc. on Tuesday said it will work to transform its fleet to include more electric and cleaner-fuel vehicles.

The company said by 2030, 75% of its fleet's passenger vehicles will be converted to electric power. The company also said it will convert half its work vehicles to plug-ins, battery electric vehicles or vehicles fueled by cleaner-burning alternatives by 2030.

After 2030, the company said, 100% of all newly purchased vehicles will be powered either by electricity or alternative fuels.

Dominion Energy also said it will expand infrastructure supporting EV charging and alternative fuels at its offices and facilities.
