CVS Health Corp. on Thursday said its board raised the quarterly dividend by 10% to 60.5 cents.

The new payout, equal to $2.42 a year, represents an annual yield of about 2.4% based on Wednesday's closing price of $100.68, up from about 2.19%.

The Woonsocket, R.I., healthcare-services giant said the increased dividend is payable Feb. 1 to shareholders of record Jan. 20.
