CVS Health Corp. will open 51 more drive-through sites for Covid-19 testing on Friday, the drug-store chain said Thursday.

The new sites comprise 12 locations in Connecticut, 10 each in Arizona, Florida and Massachusetts and nine in Pennsylvania, CVS said.

The company has said it will have 1,000 testing sites across the country by the end of May.

Testing at the sites will be accomplished via self-collection of a swab sample. People who come for tests will collect the samples without leaving their cars. CVS workers will observe to make sure the samples are collected properly.
