Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On March 30, 2020, Cabot Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release providing an update regarding the impact of the coronavirus pandemic to its business and subsequent actions that the Company is taking in response to the situation. The update also withdraws the Company’s 2020 financial guidance in light of the uncertain demand environment. A copy of the Company’s press release is furnished hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
