Homeserve Says Deadline for Brookfield Infrastructure to Make an Offer Has Been Extended

Homeserve PLC said Thursday that the deadline for Brookfield
Infrastructure to make an offer for the company has been extended
to May 19.
The U.K. home-repairs business said the board has decided to
enter discussions with Brookfield over a potential offer after
receiving a number of proposals.
Brookfield Asset Management Inc. said on March 24 that one of
its funds was in the early stages of considering an offer for
Homeserve.
There can be no certainty that a firm offer will be made, nor as
to the terms of any such offer, Homeserve said.
