Blackstone Restarts Plan to Set Up Retail Buyout Fund, FT Reports

--Blackstone Group is resuming plans to establish a
private-equity fund for wealthy individuals after months of delay,
the Financial Times reports, citing unnamed sources.
--According to the FT, the group, which has about $1 trillion in
assets under management, is slated to begin taking subscriptions
for the Blackstone Private Equity Strategies Fund late this year as
it looks to expand beyond institutional clients.
