-- ArcelorMittal has joined with the Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners fund and submitted an offer for Iberdrola SA's renewables portfolio in Spain valued at 1.2 billion euros ($1.28 billion), Spanish newspaper Cinco Dias reports, citing unnamed sources.

-- The Spanish power company is waiting for final offers this week for 49% of its Romeo Project, comprising 150 megawatts of wind and 1,100 megawatts of solar power. A final decision is expected next week, according to Cinco Dias.

-- The Luxembourg-based steelmaker said it had no comment on the report. The Danish fund was not immediately available for comment.
